The basics

What a guest post placement actually is

An article on a third-party site, written for its audience, carrying a contextual link back to a page on yours. That is the whole mechanism.

What makes it a placement rather than a listing is an editor who could say no. A marketplace always says yes.

Guest posts suit topical relevance and anchor control on commercial pages. For a link inside an article that already ranks, niche edits are faster. Both belong in a wider link building programme.

Fit check

Who guest posting works for

A good tool for a specific job — wrong elsewhere.

Strong fit

Commercial pages needing relevance and anchor control — SaaS, e-commerce, iGaming brands, agencies buying capacity.

Wrong tool for now

Very fresh domains with no foundational trust, and niches with almost no independent publisher base. Fix crawling and on-page first with technical SEO.

Realistic volume

Volume follows budget: a small one buys a few vetted sites, a larger one widens the shortlist. A count promised regardless of niche means a catalogue.

Honest comparison

Our guest post service versus a marketplace

Marketplaces own this market. Fast, cheap — here is what differs.

Who picks the site

You pick from a fixed catalogue and vet it yourself. We build your shortlist, and you veto before we pitch.

Who writes it

Catalogue content comes from a pool paid by the word. Ours from a senior writer who reads the host site first.

Who checks the readers

A listing shows an authority score. Rarely the traffic trend, sponsored-post density, or where outbound links point.

Which is why two sites with the same Domain Rating can be different assets: DR is a link-graph score, silent on whether readers exist.

To be fair — for volume at lowest cost in a low-risk niche, a marketplace is the better buy. We fit when vetting is what you cannot do.

Deliverables

What you get with every placement

The article is researched against what the host site already publishes, then written by a senior writer. You approve the anchor, target URL and text before it goes out.

If a publisher requires a sponsored label or nofollow, we say so first.

Vetting

How we find and vet publications

“Write for us” searches only surface sites advertising for contributors — the pool every marketplace uses.

Real organic traffic

The trend across months, not a snapshot. A flat line with no seasonality means bought traffic.

Traffic against authority

DR 30+ is the floor. High authority with no traffic means a site built for links.

Topical proximity

It should rank for terms next to yours. A blog covering finance, dentistry and casinos fits none.

Outbound link profile

Where a site links tells you what it sells. Commercial anchors into unrelated loans or pharma means rejection.

Sponsored saturation

We count the paid posts already published. Past a certain density, your article is one of hundreds.

Editorial standard

We read recent posts. Unedited AI filler, or publication promised within hours of payment, is rejected.

What survives reaches your shortlist with the data attached, and you veto anything without justifying it. That is why 9 out of 10 sites are rejected.

How it works

From brief to live link

Four stages. You are involved in two.

Today

Free audit and brief

We read your target pages, anchors and markets, then come back the same day with a quote.

Week 1

Shortlist and your veto

The shortlist arrives with data on every site. Approve or reject — the one stage needing a reply.

Weeks 2-4

Writing and pitching

We write to the agreed anchor and target URL, you sign it off, then we pitch. Editor response time varies.

Ongoing

Live URLs and monitoring

Each post is reported with URL, anchor and target page, then rechecked. If a link disappears, you hear from us.

When an editor declines or goes quiet we move to the next approved site, and you are never billed for a pitch that did not land.

Pricing

How guest post pricing works

We quote per client instead of publishing a rate card. Identical-looking placements are rarely the same job.

Three shapes: per placement for a specific site, fixed-scope project for a defined set of target pages, monthly retainer for ongoing work that keeps publisher relationships warm.

What moves the number: the publisher’s traffic and editorial standards, how competitive and regulated your niche is, the language and market, the volume you commit to, and the speed you need.

Included: prospecting, vetting, the article, revisions, outreach, reporting and replacing a placement that drops. Billed separately: translation, target pages added mid-project, custom graphics.

Regulated niches sit higher because far fewer publishers accept them. Casino and iGaming link building is our specialism. Agencies reselling should start at white label link building. Your exact quote comes with the free audit.

Straight answer

Guest posting and Google’s link policies

Money is involved in most guest posting, ours included. Some publishers charge for editorial review; others accept a contribution on merit. We tell you which.

Google’s spam policies target links whose primary purpose is manipulating rankings, naming links exchanged for money, goods or services as an example. What matters is whether the article was worth publishing anyway: right site, real readers, one relevant link. The established guidance on link building agrees.

We refuse regardless of budget: private blog networks, sites publishing anything within hours for a fee, pages stuffed with unrelated commercial links, domains with metrics and no readers. Nobody can promise a link will always be counted.

No commitment

Start with a shortlist of real sites

Before you commit, we build a sample shortlist for your niche: real publications with the data we used to qualify them, plus a few we rejected.

We need your domain, target pages, markets and the sites you have used before.

Common questions

Fair questions, straight answers

What is a guest posting service?

It finds relevant sites, vets them, pitches the editor, writes the article and confirms publication. A marketplace slot is different: the site list is fixed, the vetting yours.

How much does a guest post placement cost?

We quote per client, not in published bands. Drivers: the publisher’s traffic and standards, your vertical, and whether content is included — with us it always is. iGaming and finance sit well above the general range.

Are guest posts against Google’s guidelines?

Google’s spam policies target links whose primary purpose is manipulating rankings, including paid ones. Ours stand on merit; where a sponsored label is required we accept and report it. No agency can promise a link will never be discounted.

Who writes the article — you or me?

We do, and a senior writer handles it, not a junior pool. You can supply an angle, outline or draft instead. Revisions are included; nothing is submitted until you approve it.

Can I approve the sites before you pitch them?

Yes — a required step, not an option. The shortlist shows authority, traffic trend, topical overlap and recent output, and you veto without giving a reason. Reject most and the timeline stretches.

Are the links do-follow and permanent?

Do-follow and in-content by default, exceptions flagged before we accept. We avoid promising permanent — a publisher can close their site at any time. We monitor placements, 98% of our links stay live, and replace what drops.

How long does one placement take?

Two to four weeks from approved brief to live URL, most of it publisher response time. Usual delays: editor backlog and revision cycles. Volume follows budget and publisher supply; niche edits move faster.

How do you check a site actually has real traffic?

We check the traffic trend across months, whether the ranking keywords are plausible, how much is indexed, and traffic against authority. Rejected outright: strong metrics with negligible traffic, spikes from nowhere, branded-only keywords. Checks arrive with your shortlist.
