Definition

What SEO services actually are

Five kinds of work, sold together.

SEO services cover technical work on how a site is crawled, on-page work on how pages are written, content that answers a real query, links that give the domain authority, and measurement showing which of the four moved. Clean technical foundations with no authority will not rank; strong links behind a broken crawl are wasted.

A retainer buys continuous work. A project buys one defined thing with an end date: an audit, a migration plan, a batch of placements.

This page is the hub. Each discipline below has its own page, scope and pricing, and most sites need one or two of them rather than the full set.

Diagnosis

First we find what is holding you back

One thing is usually the constraint. Buying five workstreams to fix one of them is how budgets disappear.

Demand and reachability

Whether people search for what you sell, whether your pages match what those results reward, and whether the first page is held by domains far above your authority. If a money term is out of reach this year we say so before scoping, and name the ones that are not.

Crawl, render, index

Whether your pages can be reached, rendered and kept in the index. Search Console coverage read by template rather than as one total, a crawl with rendering on and off, and log files where hosting allows.

Authority and intent gap

Referring domains compared page by page against the results that outrank you, not domain against domain. Then what those pages say that yours does not. One of the two is usually the shorter distance.

The output is short: what is holding the site back, in what order to fix it, and what each fix costs. Often the answer is one workstream, not five. When the constraint sits outside search, in pricing, product or how fast sales follows up a lead, we say that instead.

The hub

The SEO services we run

Each has a dedicated page with the detail.

Technical SEO

Crawl, indexation, speed, structure, migrations. Where we find why good pages are invisible: parameter sprawl, blocked resources, orphaned templates, unrendered JavaScript. A one-off diagnostic with a fixed end is scoped separately as a technical SEO audit.

On-page SEO

Titles, headings, internal linking, entity coverage, intent matched per template. Where a page stops being nearly right and starts answering the query.

Explore on-page SEO optimization →

Link building

The flagship. Editorial placements vetted by hand at DR 30+ minimum, 98% still live when we check back. Over 500 built to date. The heavier end, where a placement has to be earned rather than negotiated, is scoped as authority link building.

Local SEO

For businesses that sell to a place: Google Business Profile, service-area pages, citations, reviews, local link supply. Scoped separately.

Shopify and ecommerce

Faceted navigation that does not shred crawl budget, collection pages built to rank rather than filter, product schema, and links pushing authority to converting categories.

AI search and GEO

Citation inside AI Overviews and chat answers is a different retrieval problem to ranking blue links. Structured, sourced pages, plus the entity signals a model needs.

Order matters more than the menu: technical first, because links pointed at an uncrawlable site are wasted, then on-page and content, then link building, which runs longest. Most retainers run two or three of these, not six. If the diagnosis points at one, start with one.

Fit

Who we work with, and who we turn away

Most briefs that reach us are not a fit, and saying no early is cheaper for everyone.

The profile that works

B2B, ecommerce and iGaming operators with a site that already earns revenue. Search demand exists, someone can sign off, and the margin carries a retainer.

The briefs we decline

Volume link blasts priced per unit. Guaranteed-ranking briefs. Pre-launch sites with no traffic and no budget to reach one. Anyone shopping purely on rate, who wants an entry-level team at an entry-level price.

Capacity is the limit

A senior-only team holds a limited number of retainers. When we are full we give you a start date, not a cheaper stand-in.

Second attempts

If the last agency burned you

Most people who call us are not buying SEO for the first time. They are buying it again, carefully.

What usually went wrong

The founder pitched, someone else ran the account. Reports counted activity instead of outcomes. Links appeared on sites nobody could name. Recommendations were written and never shipped, so a year passed with the backlog still sitting in a document.

What to ask us, and them

Who does the work, by name. What ships in month one, not what gets researched. Where the links will live, before they are live. Who owns the accounts and the deliverables when it ends. Ask for a redacted copy of the last report they sent a client.

How we are set up instead

The senior who scopes the account does the work. Placement sites are approved by you before outreach. Reporting is written and monthly. Accounts open in your name, and every audit, brief and report stays yours.

None of that guarantees a result, and an agency that offers one is choosing terms nobody searches for. What it does is make the work visible while it happens, so a bad quarter is a decision rather than a discovery at renewal.

Deliverables

What you get, month by month

Month one is an audit and a prioritised backlog, every issue ranked by expected impact against effort. From month two it becomes implemented changes, or dev-ready tickets your developer can ship.

Content arrives as briefs with the target query, intent, entities and internal links, or as finished drafts. Links arrive as live URLs with their vetting metrics.

Reporting is monthly and written: what shipped, what moved, what did not, and what changes next month. Impressions and clicks by page group rather than one site total, positions for the terms in the plan, links live with their metrics, and what is left in the backlog. You speak to the senior doing the work.

What we need from you: CMS access, a developer or someone who can approve one, and sign-off inside a week. Slow approvals are the most common reason a quarter underdelivers.

Engagement

How an engagement runs

Three stages.

Today

Free audit or call

Send the URL through the form below and get a written audit back within 24 hours. Or book thirty minutes for a straight answer.

Week 1

Paid audit and scoping

A full audit against your actual competitors, plus scope, price and term in writing. Yours to keep.

Week 2

Kickoff

Access handed over, owners named on both sides, and the first work scheduled. Scope changes are priced before anyone starts them.

Technical fixes can show within weeks, content over a quarter, authority later. We will not date a specific keyword position.

First quarter

What the first 90 days look like

That is how you buy it. This is what lands once you have.

Days 1-30

Clear what blocks everything else

The audit becomes a live backlog. Crawl and indexation blockers go first, because content and links aimed at pages Google will not keep are money spent twice. Tracking is checked before anything is measured against it.

Days 31-60

The pages already close

On-page work on the pages sitting just off the first page, where the distance is shortest. Briefs go out for the gaps worth writing. First outreach starts here, because placements take weeks to land.

Days 61-90

Compounding work

Content publishes, the first links go live, internal linking is pointed at the pages that now deserve it. The backlog is re-ranked against what two months proved, not what we assumed in week one.

Day 90

The honest review

What moved, what did not, and what we got wrong. If the plan is not working we change it. If search is the wrong channel for your next quarter, we would rather say it than bill another one.

Ninety days is long enough to know whether a plan is working. It is rarely long enough to see what it is worth.

Pricing

What SEO services cost here

Three models: a monthly retainer for continuous work, a fixed-scope project for one defined piece, or a paid audit on its own, credited against month one.

Three things move it. Site size: a 200-page B2B site and a large catalogue store are not the same job. Markets and languages, because each multiplies the work. Competitiveness of the vertical, with iGaming at the expensive end.

The fourth is delivery: implementing inside your CMS costs more and moves faster than handing off tickets. Not included: ad spend, tooling seats, third-party development, translation. Minimum term and notice sit in the proposal.

Standards

Standards, and what we will not do

The refusals are more informative than the promises.

"No guaranteed rankings. No private networks sold as editorial. Nobody learning the job on your account."

The Web Push vetting standard

What we refuse

We do not guarantee positions or forecast traffic we cannot control. We do not buy from link farms and call the result editorial.

Tools and data

Ahrefs, Search Console, GA4, a crawler, and log files where hosting allows. Accounts open in your name and stay yours, as does every audit and report.

Who staffs the work

Seniors only on client accounts, and we never hand your account to an outside vendor. If a job needs a skill we lack in-house, we say so.

The agency

Why a boutique senior-only agency

We are small on purpose. Direct access to the person doing the work, working hours that overlap the UK and EU business day and reach the US morning, and VAT-compliant invoicing.

Our depth is not evenly spread. Link building is deepest, and casino and iGaming is the vertical we know best, from how placements are supplied to how each market is regulated.

Small team, small footprint of our own. We would rather show the method than a wall of logos. Client work sits under NDA, so on the scoping call we walk you through a redacted audit document instead of screenshots. More about how we work.

Common questions

Fair questions, straight answers

What do SEO services include?

Five disciplines: technical, on-page, content, links and measurement. In a retainer they run continuously, re-prioritised monthly. A project buys one as a defined piece with an end date. What you already have decides what is missing.

How much do SEO services cost?

Three models: a monthly retainer, a fixed-scope project, or a paid audit on its own. What moves the number is site size, how many markets and languages you need, how competitive the vertical is (iGaming and finance sit at the expensive end), and whether we implement the work or hand it to your team. You get an exact figure with the free audit, before anyone asks you to commit to anything.

Do I need all of these services, or can I start with one?

Start with one. The diagnosis names the constraint, and buying the other four before that one is fixed slows everything down. Technical problems come first because they cap what any other work can achieve. After that it is usually on-page and content, or authority, rarely both at full weight in the same quarter. Each service has its own page, scope and price.

Are SEO services worth it for my business?

It pays back when search demand exists, your margin carries a few months before returns show, and the sales cycle is long enough that being found early matters. It does not when you need revenue this quarter, or when nobody searches for the product. We say so on the first call.

How long before SEO shows results?

Technical first, content next, authority last. Crawl and indexation fixes can show within weeks. Content usually takes a quarter to settle. Link-led gains take longer, then compound. We will not date a specific keyword position. A reasonable first quarter moves impressions before revenue.

Our last SEO agency delivered nothing. Why would this be different?

Usually because the work never shipped. A backlog was written, nobody had CMS access or developer time, and the retainer paid for research that stayed in a document. So we scope implementation explicitly: we either do the work in your CMS or hand your developer tickets with acceptance criteria, and month one produces a ranked backlog rather than a discovery phase. The senior who scoped the account is the one doing it, and at day 90 you get a written review of what moved and what did not, including our own misses.

We have an in-house marketing team. Where do you fit?

Most of our retainers sit next to an internal team. It works when ownership is written down before anyone starts: we own diagnosis, priorities and the specialist work nobody in-house has time for, your team owns publishing, brand and sign-off. It fails when two people own the same thing. If your team can already do the work and only needs direction, that is consulting, and it is cheaper.

What is the difference between SEO services and SEO consulting?

Services means we do the work: implementation, content, links, reporting. Consulting is advisory only: we review what you have, write the plan, and review your team's output. Consulting suits teams that need direction, not hands. It is priced by time; delivery is priced by scope.

Do you guarantee first-page rankings?

No, and nobody can. Positions are set by an algorithm none of us control, against competitors who are also working. An agency guaranteeing one is targeting terms nobody searches for. We commit to scope, cadence, reporting and named seniors, and if work ships and nothing moves we diagnose why and change the plan.

Do you work with casino and iGaming sites?

Yes. It is the specialism, not a side line. Link supply is tighter and pricier than in mainstream verticals, and regulation changes what you can publish per market. Affiliates and operators need different link profiles, and we will not call network placements editorial. More detail on casino and iGaming link building.

Who actually does the work?

Senior practitioners only on client accounts, and we never hand your account to an outside vendor. You speak directly to the person doing the work, which is why we cap how many retainers we hold.
